Suzanne Othman

Since joining Kaufman Law Group in 2003, Suzanne Othman has worked with Jay on corporate, real property, estate planning and trust administration matters. She ensures that our clients’ estate plans are properly funded and maintained.

Working from the office in Northbrook, Illinois, Suzanne has a wide range of experience handling estate-planning and asset protection issues. Under Mr. Kaufman’s direction, she has drafted hundreds of wills, health-care powers of attorney, durable powers of attorney, revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and pre-nuptial agreements for clients in Chicago, Northbrook, Schaumburg, Barrington, and throughout the state of Illinois. She recently completed coursework on “Estate Planning in Depth” at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

She enjoys helping clients establish family-owned businesses and pass them on, from one generation to the next. Suzanne is a member of Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, the Illinois Paralegal Association and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. In addition to her professional activities, Suzanne is actively involved in various charitable, environmental, and civic organizations.
