Kim Kaskel

Kim has been with KLG since 1998.  She began as a legal secretary assisting all attorneys in the office.  Most of which was in the estate planning and corporate area.

Kim now focuses on retirement plan administration for the firm’s defined contribution plans.  She handles all aspects of the annual administration of the plans from census information, trust accounting, plan valuations/reports and discrimination testing to filing the Form 5500 with EBSA.  She assists our clients with their retirement plan questions and handles participant calls as well as assisting Jay with the defined benefit plans.

Kim also maintains all annual reporting with the Secretary of State for all corporations in which Jay serves as registered agent.  She also assists our clients with the formation of their entities.  Kim also assists Jay with the firm’s commercial real estate transactions. She has a wide range of experience and assists our clients with their needs.

Prior to beginning her career at KLG, Kim worked in Chicago for a small estate planning and tax attorney firm where she worked as a legal secretary for the senior partner.
